The Vern wishes people would shut up about “A Quiet Place”

Damn.  Damn Damn Damn Damn  Damn Damn.   I’m sorry.  I know a lot of you really love this movie, but I was disappointed with A Quiet Place.  Yes It was cool that there was a big mainstream movie that got people to shut up.  However this family did a lot of stupid things that I was laughing at them instead of being scared for them.

You can read my review of a A Quiet Place from That Moment In

    BUT IT WAS SO GOOD!

    lol

  2. ninvoid99 says:

I haven’t seen it as I’m wary about horror films that people hype over for as they often say “it’s the best film since this film” and all of that shit.

    • The Vern says:

Yeah. If you like it fine but its not the best horror film since Get Out. Which isn’t a horror film.

      • ninvoid99 says:

Get Out might not be a traditional horror film but it’s still an amazing film. To me, horror is more of something like John Carpenter or Tobe Hooper or Wes Craven.

I’m planning on seeing it next week, so I’ll wait until after that to read your review. But I’m really looking forward to your review!

    • The Vern says:

Thank you very much. I am excited to read your thoughts. Its not bad in the filmmaking sense but in writing and story telling aspect its terrible. I know I’m in the minority on this one

  4. Chris says:

Seems a bit overhyped and flawed. I’m not rushing out to see it.
